We believe there are unique demands, challenges, and issues facing medical and dental marriages.  Side By Side offers a community of women who can relate to, support, pray for, love, and encourage one another on this ever-changing journey of the educational and professional process from medical/dental school to private/academic practice and all the training in between. 

Side by Side is a national, non-denominational, Bible-based organization that welcomes ALL medical and dental wives, regardless of religious background or denomination, and ministers to women through Bible study, friendship, and prayer.  We work in partnership with the Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA).

The Cleveland Chapter launched the summer of 2013. 
So, whether...
  • your husband is at UH, Metro; the Clinic, or a branch of the Clinic;
  • you live on the East or West side of Cleveland;
  • you are a long-time wife of a doctor or recently engaged to a med student;
  • you are working outside the home or at home;
  • you have children or not;
  • you are very familiar with or completely new to Side By Side;
  • you have many or no faith background(s) or would consider yourself a Christian
